Descriptions
 | Aluminium Oxide - White in mesh sizes 80, 120, 180
and 220 for fine detailed sand blasting. |
| Regipol - Cerium based crystal glass quality
polishing powder for general lapidary final polish especially quartz
and opal lapidary . Packed in pots/pails. |
| Silicon Carbide - in mesh sizes 80 coarse, 120
medium, 180 medium, 220 fine/medium, 360 fine tumbling / lapping, 600
very fine prepolish / fine lapping grades. |
| Pumice - in F Grade 100 mesh (93% passing 140 mesh,
65% passing 200 mesh) and in FF Grade 140 mesh (91% passing 200 mesh,
70% passing 325 mesh). Used in glass polishing and dental work. |
| Tin Oxide - final polish for flat lapping
. Packed in pots/pails. (Also stocked in Exeter). |
| Rouge Red - natural red Iron Oxide (Also
stocked in Exeter). |
| Rouge Green - Chromium Oxide - for lapidary of Jade
and other green stones (Also stocked in Exeter). |
| Zinc Oxide - can be used instead of cerium or tin on
some work or between pre-polish and final run of cerium or tin -
cleaner, lighter, cheaper than cerium or tin. (Also stocked in
Exeter). |
Unfortunately we only stock the media/powder and are
unable to help with any lapidary or blasting equipment or technical
advice.
